by Rev. Jean “Drum” Pagano
Like the tempest
Your anger arises
Stir the lightning,
Rage the storm:
Cattle no longer graze;
Sheep refuse the bleat;
Children all,
Left unattended,
Wander the Earth
Without purpose
Earth Mother:
Vanquish your anger
To the Dark Earth;
Send all your sorrows
To the Dark Earth;
Force the Shadow away
To the Dark Earth
Then reclaim the Sun
Then reclaim the Sun
Then reclaim the Sun
Send your Bee,
Great Mother
Tell the cattle to graze;
Tell the sheep to bleat;
Tell the parents to gather their children,
Like you do to you to yours
Like you do to you to yours
Like you do to you to yours
